YOGA

Enjoy the benefits of yoga: increased strength, flexibility and muscle tone; mental focus; endurance; and reduced stress. Modified Ashtanga Yoga combined with Power Yoga classes will be taught by Valerie Littleton or Adabelle Carson, Yoga Alliance certified instructors. The classes will be Tue., and Thur., 6:00 – 7:00 am OR 8:30 – 9:30 pm at the Community Center (125 W 400 N). Register at the Recreation Office  or at class. Fee is $60.00 per session (25 classes). The session will be Sept.14th thru Dec. 16th.  OR $25 per month. Class minimum – 12 students.

 

Registration for Dance for Moms and Turbo Kick only available at the Recreation Office.

Dance for MOMS

Dance for MOMS is the perfect opportunity to escape the responsibilities of life and enjoy exercising through dance. Various types of dance, ballet, modern, jazz, etc. will be used to create a fun, artistic, calorie burning experience for everyone. No dance experience is necessary. This class will be at the Mapleton Community Center Tuesdays, 7-8 pm, beginning Sept. 14th. Instructor, Kristi Newsome is currently a BYU dance instructor and currently teaches high school dance. Fee: $15 per month or $25 per month to attend both Dance for Moms and Turbo Kick.

**NEW** TURBO KICK

Turbo Kick is the hottest cardio kickboxing class around for fitness training. Turbo Kick is a fusion of hip hop and kickboxing. Come burn some calories and have fun while doing it. All fitness levels are welcomed. Please come join us September 9th and 16th for FREE. Invite a group of friends and let’s get fit! This class will be at the Mapleton Community Center Thursdays, 7-8 pm. Instructor: Lisa Rivera. Fee: $15 per month or $25 per month to attend both Dance for Moms and Turbo Kick.
