Beginning: 10-11:00 Little or no experience
required. Students will learn basic chords,
rhythm, and accompaniment, solos, timing, and some
theory through songs.
Intermediate: 9-10:00 Students with some
prior experience playing their instrument (not
necessarily bluegrass or folk music) will learn fun
songs to perform together. Students should feel
fairly comfortable with basic chords and be able to read
some music or tablature.
Advanced: 8-9:00 This class should be exciting and
challenging to most experienced students. We will
be learning high-energy, fun and interesting songs at a
fast-pace. Students should be competent in reading
music or tablature, and know most chords and be very
comfortable making chord changes. This is a fun
experience as a real bluegrass band.
