| Mapleton Fire For emergencies, dial 911 or (801) 851-4100. For other calls, dial (801) 491-8048. We are located at 35 East Maple. In the summer of 1995, there was a devastating fire that engulfed Maple Mountain. Our Volunteer Fire Department spent that night and the next few weeks fighting this terrible fire. Mapleton Volunteer Fire Department has seven fire trucks, one of which was bought in 1997. The Mapleton Volunteer Fire Department is proud to say that they are composed of 100% volunteers.
